We are a "producers-only" market, meaning that first, you or your family or employees must grow or make what you sell. No one is allowed to buy from the wholesale market and resell it at this market, and we enforce that. Generally, only people who support the “producers-only” concept join a producers-only market so enforcement is seldom an issue.

Though we are producers-only, we do encourage booth sharing or other collaborations for those without sufficient product for a booth by themselves or with time constraints. Vendors sending employees to staff the market stall are expected to come to the market themselves at least three times during the season.

We are focusing on organically or sustainably grown products, but we realize there may not be enough of us to meet the demand so will consider applications from those who grow "conventionally" or who have products that are really difficult to produce organically (fruit). We realize that the ingredients of "ready-to-eat" food may not be organic, but do want as much whole grain, no hydrogenated oils, etc ingredients - the less processed the ingredients, the better.
